Is it better to not get a return offer or not have a summer analyst offer at all for FT recruiting?
If I don’t get a return offer from my SA, should I just delete the SA experience from my resume? Any thoughts on this?

Was ur internship IB
I don't have IB SA on my resume but am (so I'm told by people I've been networking with) in a good position for FT recruiting. If it isn't on your resume it's gonna come up in interviews/you may not even get into recruiting processes (I would think) if they notice the lack of something for junior summer
Not judging but curious — you don't have an IB SA but are in a good position to recruit IB FT? How does that work? Again, curious question as my advice for OP would be to certainly keep the experience on, irregardless of return decision…. I’m not sure I’ve met a successful lateral who hasn’t had IB experience to speak from.
I’ve been doing all the “right things.” Quite a few alumni from my school I’ve networked with were in a similar situation (ie no SA position, still lateraled in to good firms) so I’m not too terribly concerned. Internship this summer is with a large, reputable firm focused on something finance/accounting related.
