I would say yes that's a good idea. Maybe don't spam everyone in the office, but just the few analysts you had close contact with throughout the process.

 

Definitely send a thank you note to anyone who helped you out along the way. Don't think it's entirely necessary to send a thank you note to the interviewers (assuming you already sent one in between the interview(s) and getting the offer).

 

Seriously... If they gave you an offer it means that you are an (expected) valuable asset for them. They are not looking for flowers...

 

do people typically send out thank you letters to their interviewers after a superday? just wondering, because I just had one and didn't...

It doesn't hurt to stay in touch with those you interviewed with, especially if you're interested in working for the groups they're in. Given that there's no downside (no reasonable person can really ever be annoyed by a thank-you letter, especially from someone he likes), I really don't see why you'd hesitate here.
