Is it too late

I know you probably see a lot of these but I was wondering if it really is too late. Background for context- in the East Coast doing an MSF, not from a target. Did an equity research internship in 2024, however because it was an internship the work was not very high quality at all. I'll be graduating soon and am giving myself 2-3 months to focus extremely hard on recruiting. Working on technicals (P&R, 400) and trying to connect with as many people on linkedin as possible. Hoping to send out the coffee chat messages once I feel more confident with my technicals though.

Is this still doable? I was motivated and inspired until I had a shitty interaction with a professor recently. I know I will still want to give it my 100 percent tomorrow, and will, but I understand more clearly now it's a long shot. Just wanted to know if anyone had advice or has been in a similar situation and made it out or...didn't.
