Is it worth it to get a MS in Finance if I am looking to break into IB?
I am about to graduate from St. John's University with a BS in Marketing, but I have slowly realized that finance is my true passion. I have a great understanding of markets, economics, and the basics of finance; but I lack experience.
I really want to get into investment banking, but I am not sure how I could get there and I was thinking about pursuing a masters degree to fill the gap. Is this a good strategy or are there other ways to break into the industry this late in the game?
