So I applied to MS and completed the Hirevue a while back but missed the email of where they sent us the assessments to complete within 48 hours. However, I was still able to go back and complete the assessments yesterday. Does that mean my chance at MS is gone? How much emphasis is put on the assessments?

Does this provde a useful metric that tells banks anything? No, most likely not. Should banks also ask each applicant if they had a hearty breakfast and went to bed on time?
Ehhhh I get what you're saying, but responsiveness to emails is a really useful metric for predicting Analyst success, probably more so than GPA if I'm honest.
