Is PE route worth it?
Hey all, over the last few months I interviewed and accepted a SA 2021 position at an EB (PJT/CVP/EVR) and was wondering if the banking to PE route still is a good career option? My understanding is that UMM PE with a buyout strategy is crowded and Megafunds generally push you out after two years. (I am a junior so I may be wrong here). Is it smarter to try and be a career banker or should I begin thinking about Growth Equity and other buy-side roles?
You literally don't need to care about this at all. Focus on getting a return offer.
