Is recruiting time consuming?

I’m heading into SA 26 recruiting this fall/winter and I was wondering how time consuming the process is… I have had multiple people tell me to take less classes just because it takes up so much of your time. For SA 26 is it really much more than networking (which a good candidate would’ve done in the summer. winter/fall would just be reconnecting/coffee chats), and throwing your resume in the application pile online? Or are there more aspects involved. I also understand this time is used to recruit for soph. Summer internships, which for most kids at my school usually ends up being boutique IB/PE shops. Does that really eat up that much of your time?

Nah bro - shouldn’t be too time consuming at all. Just talk to one or two people and submit apps and you should get the job. Seem like the ideal candidate tbh

Its as time consuming as you make it. Like a test, there really is no cap to how much you can study and prepare. Sending out (as a baseline) hundreds of emails, studying technicals, crafting behaviorals, and stressing about each part of it, is very challenging--especially when in tandem with classes. Best of luck and yes prepare to have a difficult semester/quarter

Nah it's chill just text ur dad when u submit the application. Usually get an email with the offer within 1-2 weeks.
