Is the Series 63 still relevant?

Joining a BB FT and learned that the only license exams are the SIE and top off 79, not the 63. Is the 63 still relevant? Should I pursue it on my own since you don't need firm sponsorship?

Perhaps overthinking it, but in the event I wanted to switch firms years down the line, is it better to have the 63 or no?

Who cares if it's relevant or not? Why take any non-essential licensing exams?
