Is there certain ways to shorten the amount of work you have?
This is more of a technical question. Is there any advanced code of shortcuts anyone entering IB should know about to get done with their work faster? Thanks all

Rest only comes from hardwork on the job, unfortunately.
The real time saver is to template everything. I had a folder (with sub folders for every type of analysis like comps, dcf, strategic rationale, sum-of-the-parts, price performance, etc) that I updated periodically with the latest slides that were signed off by my MDs. Most MDs like to see the same shit over and over again, with various tweaks over time. So make life easier for yourself and have it all readily available, instead of trying to remember which deck from 5 months ago had the page you were look for.
