I know UBS is a tier below GS/MS/JPM/Citi/EBs, but how does it compare to Barclay's, DB, CS, BofA, WF etc? Is it still even considered a bulge bracket?

Yes obviously.
They still work on some top notch deals (Alstom Bombardier for instance), and after having done a 1st internship there I can guarantee you I got calls from headhunters and interviews almost anywhere else I applied next.
