The work itself is different, but isn’t the lifestyle the same? About 60 hours a week as a junior, some time for vacations, similar pay after tax… And exits in Europe seem like they’re as good as US corporate banking exits. I’d consider these the important things of a career (besides culture, which is firm/group specific). Is there something I’m missing?
