I think they cut incoming full-timers as well who had already signed on rip
An alum from my school actually joined them FT this year. Don't know how true that is.
Lol definitely know that they make their analysts work hard.
Sounds like this guy comes from UBS.. they hired 4/6 interns last summer and didn’t cut anybody from the incoming analyst class... my close friend works there

Great shop for A&D. Definitely as sweaty as it gets in Houston but great rep and high volume A&D work. Unfortunately probably better to be at a shop with RX capabilities right now given the current environment
Definitely agree that it's very sweaty but at the end of the day I think the experience at Jefferies should be great, and for me honestly I don't care if I have to put in 105 hours. Plus, I do believe that Jefferies has brought in a couple of restructuring bankers as well to ramp that side up.

There are definitely groups that are pretty sweaty in that you get worked hard. Don't know for sure, but doubt that that's true about analyst bonuses.
Saw the app go back up on their website. Are they recruiting for more spots?
