Job Title at Citi
For anyone who may know, or previously worked at Citi, what is the significance of a B/C in your title? I am applying for roles that have these letters and a number after them. I am interviewing for B-10. What does that mean. The job would also carry the designation of officer. Some jobs at the B-10 level have an officer designation and others don't. Does that mean I would be paid more?
Is this an IB job?
Not sure how much help you're going to get here, Citi follows regular format for IB - analyst, associate etc with no other tiers. This sounds like a job in risk or servicing
Citi has an internal labeling / categorization of job titles that he is asking about.
At Citi if you are an IB analyst, you are an officer as far as I know.
The B/C categorization part I can’t remember (may be banking / capital markets?)
Can’t speak to citi, but it may just be your career band or level. Whereas entry level positions are level 10, and just goes up (associates are 9, VP 8, etc.)
