JP Morgan IBD AC Format
Hi everyone, I was recently invited to the J.P. Morgan Investment Banking Superday. I was wondering if anyone would be open to sharing some insights into the format of the three interviews and the final case study, particularly the types of questions typically asked and the areas to focus on when preparing. I’d really appreciate any insights!

Is this for summer
yes
Damn it’s all over for me then… good luck
format varies by year and office so treat this as what people have reported, not a guarantee. the pattern on WSO's JPM interview page is a HireVue first, then a superday of back to back interviews, with a case in some versions. people describe the case as DCF and LBO basics where you have to pull numbers from slides quickly, so be quick and comfortable with the mechanics. the rest is a mix of behavioral and technical.
for technicals it's the usual stuff: walk me through a DCF, how depreciation flows through the three statements, what makes a deal accretive or dilutive. for behavioral have a clean why banking and why JPM, plus the standard ethics and teamwork stories. if you know which group you're interviewing with, read up on a recent deal they did.
