Based on the most helpful WSO content, JPMorgan's Analyst salary progression typically starts with a base of $110K for AN1. However, there isn't specific information in the dataset about the exact timing of when the base increases to $125K. Generally, salary bumps for analysts in investment banking often align with annual reviews or promotions, which could occur after one year or during the summer following the first year.

If you're looking for precise timing, it might be best to consult internal HR policies or recent updates from colleagues at JPMorgan.

Thank you. May I ask what your source is? I’m considering a lateral move from MM but I would be reset to AN1. A different commenter said it would be 1.5 years, so 2028 Jan.

Sorry there was a misunderstanding but basically you join in summer and do 1.5 years as an1, then 1 year as an2, then promote.

What I am saying is we are yet to see what the salary will be for an2 under this new regime given that the first cohort (2025 intake) will get it in January 2027

Very helpful, thank you. I suppose the bigger bonus might make the 2.5 years at 110 base worth it for me still.
