JPM TSS No Hearback, No Rejection (My friend is rejected)

Apologies, I know TSS is not I-Banking, but I guess it is the closest given the categories I can choose from.

I had a superday with JPM TSS ten days ago (02/02/12). The interview went very well. The 1st interviewer kept saying things like "your resume is impressive", "you definitely have the skill set for this job". The 2nd interviewer shook my hand when the interview ended and said that he likes my passion. However, I haven't heard anything back from them for 11 days.

The interesting part is that my friend received a rejection letter from the same program I apply to (yes, we are from the same school, and we are interviewed by the same person) last Friday. The letter she received says "dear candidates, thanks...". It is clearly a mass email, and I am clearly not rejected.

So what's going on with me? On hold? Forgot to be included in the rejection list?

I appreciate your help.

A friend of mine got off the waitlist at TSS last year. His advice is to follow up with your interviewers reaffirming your interest, and otherwise just hope someone declines their offer. Not much else to do.

Hey had my interview last Friday for TSS Business Analyst also man. I feel like it went very well. They told me decision by this week. There was only 3 others interviewing when I was there so I felt pretty good about that. What kind of feedback did you get? ie email phone? Would appreciate some insight. Good luck.

i hate not hearing back from firms would be nice if they would just let you kno you got dinged with in 2 days so they don't waste your time
