yeah, it really sucks that those guys made a good decision early in school...
...went to awesome parties while you were studying in the library. ...got good grades while you slaved for a c (because their fraternity may have had a test file). ...got all of the chicks (because what chick whats to hang out in the library on a friday night?) ...and now can reap the benefits of a network (as I'm sure you do when you cold call all of your alumni that are nice enough to put their phone numbers in the school database)...
gosh, those fraternities really suck...

There weren't too many kappa sig bankers from my school, at least in my year or the year above. GPA was probably too low.

Let's be honest.
...went to awesome parties while you were studying in the library. ...got horrible grades as a result while blindly hoping that the frat's dusty old test file is up to date. ...got all of the chicks ...and now can reap the benefits of a network full of random dudes (I'll cold call the banker alums while you come to terms with the fact that 90% of your brothers don't know what excel is.)
Summary: Joining a frat entails trade-offs just like anything else.
all about balance man..id say the majority of the people in the industry partied their asses off but figured out how to get good grades and get the job, fraternity or no fraternity.
