KippsDeSantos & TripleTree Insight

Hey guy,

I was wondering if anyone could shed light on CapitalOne’s IB presence. I know KDS has a presence in Tysons with A&D/tech services and TT is growing their NY office and has established a name in HC. Could someone give some insight into their reputation, deal flow, comp, exits/lateral opps, etc. relative to other boutiques in their respective industries.

Can't speak to TripleTree but I do know a few bankers at KDS. They pay at or above street and have been knocking out deals in the A&D/gov contracts space, heard the culture is a bit sweaty. Must be because of the KDS MDs that got poached to come over there already had great rapport in the industry sector and deal pipelines.

No, I don't work there. I'm sure someone can shed more light on this but hope this helps.

Median deal size for HCIT/Services is $300mm. Average deal size is $700mm. They've worked on some serious mega deals but operate in the mm-umm space. They're getting increasingly able to be choosy in clients to take on.
