Lack of effort after IB offer

Anyone else feel a lack of effort after you get your SA IB Offer?

Specifically a lack of effort in school. I’m feeling it.

Also, do most banks do GPA checks or transcript checks? Might have to take a C this semester lmao

While it would behoove you overall to get the highest possible GPA despite your banking offer, banks will check to make sure your GPA was what it was when you recruited. But also don't start delivering a bunch of shitty grades as it's not good optics.

You will feel more that once you get the return offer as well. You need to make sure your grades are okay because you never know if you will get the full time offer at the end of internship, and then you need to recruit again for FT or go to Master in Finance for a second shot. So it would be a good insurance to maintain at least 3.5 for a good measure.

Ya bro senior year offer in hand.. haven’t been to class in over a week and trying to build a business and work on things I’m interested in. You will never have more time than u do now
