Lateral into Rx
Background: >3.6 gpa at a non target school. Currently at a hedge fund in New York, planning on staying here for a year and a half. Been here for a few months so far.
I’m interested in trying to lateral into a restructuring group within a bank. Given my background and lack of a large network, I figure my best bet is to focus on MM banks rather than BB or elite boutiques.
Other than reading Moyer’s DD and HL case study, what should I focus on for recruiting and interviewing?
