Lateral Start Date Delay – Bad Look?

I recently accepted a lateral offer to a MM IB in a city i dont currently live in (Currently live in NYC). I'm coming from a boutique and have already signed the updated offer letter, which reflects a July 14 start date (originally I had asked for July 21, but agreed to move it up when asked).

That said, I’m running into some relocation delays—housing and logistics have been tougher than expected—and I’m now considering asking if it would be possible to push my start date back by a week to July 21, the date I had initially proposed.

Would it be a bad look to make this request after having already signed the offer? Could this raise any red flags or risk the offer getting pulled?

Appreciate any insight from folks who’ve been in a similar situation.
