Bit off topic, but anyone know if Lazard has a sponsors group? I know they have some seniors, but don’t see anything about any analysts.

They say they have a “large cap” sponsor team but I haven’t seen them on any large cap deals…?

How so? Is this just a Lazard specific thing or all EBs? Honestly not sure how a boutique without a balance sheet can offer value to sponsors, so I always wondered what a junior in a EB/MM sponsors group actually does
