Lazard Healthcare Assoicate (NYC) - Culture / Deal Flow / Pay

Hey all,

was wondering if anybody has any insights on Lazard's Healthcare group (NYC). For some reason I am associating Lazard with being a little bit of a sweat shop. Does anybody know what the culture there is and how the associate pay is structured? I am assuming it's the standard EB base pay, but what about bonuses?

“I recently had my first roadmap meeting with a mentor from WSO Academy, and it was truly a pleasure. We had such an open, genuine, and insightful conversation. What I appreciated most was how closely his background, career path, and long-term vision aligned with my own ambitions. It was almost as if we shared the same goals and outlook on the future, which made the conversation even more valuable. Lazard pays low compared to other EBs.

closer to BB pay than EB pay from what I’ve seen

According to litquidity, they are lagging in pay behind CVP, EVR, and GS. They pay more at the associate level than Morgan Stanley and JPM.
