Leave FT Partners SA.....?

After the recent press about the firm, I've been a bit disheartened about going there for SA. Will my reputation be permanently stained by going there? How hard will it be to re-recruit full-time by having them on my resume?

Should I just not go there entirely and look for something else? Not sure how accurate what I've been reading is but I've just been feeling justifiably kind of shitty after reading all I have this week. I don't want to be viewed as a joke if I try to FT recruit out...

The management deserves hate, because theyre total assholes, but the analysts deserve respect.

Dear god, it's beyond parody at this point. FT Partners is well respected and is clearly among the elite banks growing faster than almost any other boutique. A few rogue persons on here should not have any impact on your decision. Run a linkedin search on former and current employees and you will find many outstanding exits and former interns who have landed great jobs on the street, including many returning interns who work there today. Also, if you are getting paid at the new base comp you're going to get a solid experience and top bucket pay. Good luck with your decision.

Can't second this enough. Look at the transactions page of FT Partners and actually try and get a sense of the deals and mandates they get placed on. These are multimillion dollar deal sizes concurrent with EBs that many BBs or MMs aren't even able to touch.

The pay raise, growing analyst class, and being featured in the NYTs recently should all indicate to you that the bank is expanding its culture and has something that other banks don't.
