Leave IB for FP&A role?

Currently an IB Associate (boutique) and have received an offer to work as a Senior Analyst/Associate (right below Manager title) at a high-growth tech company in FP&A.  My two options:

i) stay at my current firm working 40-70 hours/wk on average and making ~$160K+. Don’t work many weekends. Hours are prob closer to 50/wk.  Go into office 3 days/wk.  2 years until VP level.
ii) take offer to go work in FP&A at growing tech company and make ~$145K+ with bonus/equity.  They’ve told me 40-50 hours/wk on average.  Fully remote position.

It’s a tough decision for me because I don’t think I would stay in IB past VP level.  I am less into the sales aspect of IB, so leaving now to work in a fully remote role at a high-growth tech company is enticing.  I’ve carefully considered some exit options, and have been focusing on strategic finance and FP&A.  However this role is in FP&A not strategic finance.

Is staying at my current firm the right move considering I don’t want to stay in IB past VP (and it might be even more challenging to make the move later on)?  Is it difficult to lateral to strategic finance within the same company?  With this new role, I’m attracted by the potential for working less hours (but not by much), the fully remote aspect, and the fact that it’s a high growth tech company.  An opportunity like this does not come by often.
