Leaving new job after 1 year (will be 3rd year analyst by then)

Lateraled into a new group as a 2nd year analyst, and I am not interested in staying on for an associate promotion, which happens after 3rd year analyst. As such, is it acceptable to leave after 1 year (i.e., after receiving bonus and moving up to 3rd year analyst)? In my mind, it doesn’t make sense to stay on for another year as a 3rd year if I know I’ll leave.
