Legit?

There has been a lot of contradicting information floated on this site in regards to J.P. Morgan's Syndicated and Leveraged Finance (SLF) group.

Are the buy-side exit opportunities good? Is the culture good? What is the reputation?

JPM SLF is one of the best on the street because of the balance sheet, but in terms of modeling, they don't do too much. They give back debt LIBOR spreads and other market estimates on ratings and rates, but their main job is to support the coverage / M&A group building the model.
