Life Science Deals - Licensing, Commercializations, Collaborations and etc.
Does anyone here have any experience with working on life science/biotech-specific transactions like licensing, commercialization or collaboration-type deals? Are these deals typically done by the in-house people at life science/biotech companies? For PE-owned biotechs, assume the PE sponsor can be quite involved in structuring these deals, but wondering where the strategic thinking typically comes from and what the deal dynamics are like.
