Quick question on following up after initial reach outs. Should I resend it to their email or would it be better to follow up through LinkedIn? My theory is that if email did not originally work than why would it work a second time, might be better to try something else. Thoughts?

From my experience, there is no "perfect" way. I do like the idea of using linkedin instead of email for the second one, I think the point to worry about is tone of whatever you send.
