Silly question but given that loans are banks' assets, is portfolio management (managing/servicing existing borrowers within a commercial banking group) considered / = asset management?
Also, for resume-writing purposes, if applying to non-credit roles (i.e. IB), would it be weird to swap 'credit memorandum' for 'investment memorandum'?
