Did a first round with JPM RM Thursday and doing my GTM later today. Non-target Canadian school.
If you are referring to the hirevue, I believe it’s not selective, at least for IBd
Didn't get offered a hirevue for a separate division in NYC so there must be some selectivity
I applied for IB SA. Coming from a semi target european. Didn't receive any invitation to first round.
how was it?
RM was 3 questions 1 attempt with a 3 minute timer. I think it went fairly well, said what I wanted to and was seemingly enjoying myself but who knows how others did. Still have one more to do for the GTM.
My tip: Perfect the 3 practice questions because they aren't random. 2/3 practice were very similar to what I was actually asked.

To all the guys here asking for the questions, hope you find this helpful:
1) Why will you be successful as an analyst 2) Talk about a time when you worked successfully in a team 3) A time when you had to solve a complex problem
30 seconds to think, 3 minute per answer.
