Lower Tier MM Exit Opps

Hello, I have two offers. One is from a lower MM investment bank and the other is for credit investments at a mid size fund. What position do you think will have better exit ops? I am afraid the banking gig will not get me far since it is a relatively unknown name. Any insights appreciated !

Assuming you will have deals to close and not pitch 24/7 (ask current and former analysts), take the bank. I came from a lesser known bank but still got great looks at solid MM shops. It will give you more optionality and you can always do credit after banking but maybe you'll want to do corp dev, PE, start-up, etc. With that said, I valued optionality more than finding the perfect role when I was coming out of school so depends on what you want.
