Had school information session yesterday….seems slow process.
Can only speak to commodities - accelerated process and had 2 interviews today, 2 Monday. Idk if this is their version of a superday or what. Had a ~1hr zoom w/ campus recruiter before apps opened, networked w/ MD who is a friend of a family friend.
Can confirm, they're wrapping up accelerated superdays (which for some reason are spread over the course of a week). Was told decisions will be made in the next couple of weeks, but can be soon if you have exploding offers.
I can second that they do run an accelerated process for top candidates. This is fine without the official applications open and thus networking is needed for this process.
Can anyone tell me how exactly I should go about networking for accelerated process?
Got an offer from a BB today but would like to see if I can use that to get an accel process at Macquarie.
VP at the Macquarie office I applied to viewed my LinkedIn profile today. Have zero connections there… should I maybe message him?
