Curious if other LMM Investment Banks have their MDs on as commission only? It seems like this is somewhat unfair risk sharing with the firm even if the MD is getting ~40% of the success fee and ~40% of the monthly retainer. Thoughts on this structure or would you be looking for a different bank to work at once you are nearing the Director / MD level?
