Mentioning Your First Round Interviews During Interviews?

Would you mention you're also in early interview stages at competitive or more prestigious shops during an interview with another firm? Or would you wait until the question comes up as it usually does? Or are first rounds pretty meaningless and you should only mention superdays?

There isn't a clear cut answer to this. You need to be able to read the situation, and the interviewer.

There's times when they might be on the fence, so stating that you are interviewing at X or Y might be what pushes them over.

Or it could be the case that their ego gets hurt because they're not your only choice.

All depends. But in general terms, I think you should wait to be asked for that info.
