Depends on whether your middle initial is prestigious (X, J, D) or non-target (C, M, L).

There have been many great comebacks throughout history. Jesus was dead but then came back as an all-powerful God-Zombie.

My middle name is too pretentious, but if you have an aristocratic middle name like Kane, by all means go for the full name. Gives you pedigree and is worth more prestige for sure.

alexpaschLOL I'm so going to give my kid Xavier for a middle name so his middle initial can be X. That would look bad ass on a resume, LOL.

Xavier is good (as are most obscure saints/biblical figures-Scholastica, Ezekial, Hezekiah, etc); also look into Greeks-Xeno, Xenon, Xenophone, or Persian (Xerxes).

Names of obscure periodic elements (Scandium, Palladium) and famous European dynasties are also recommended- Paul Tudor Jones, for example.

My dad has the same name as me but he doesn't have a middle name and I do so I always use middle initial to differentiate ourselves

looking for that pick-me-up to power through an all-nighter?

SB for Kenny Powers, that cracked me up.

Also I am lol'ing at this whole thread.

Wall Street leaders now understand that they made a mistake, one born of their innocent and trusting nature. They trusted ordinary Americans to behave more responsibly than they themselves ever would, and these ordinary Americans betrayed their trust.

monkayWow CML are all of my initials and I go to a non target, how accurate... Charles is a sweet middle name though
There are exceptions-"Charles" makes up for its weak initial with overall strength. Consider spelling out the name instead of using the initial, and also jazzing it up a little-Charlemagne or Charlesford are good options.

dublinJPM employees default to "X" as the middle initial for their email addresses - clever attempt to make people look more badass?
Read your employement contract-every JPM employee automatically changes their middle name to Xiphias in honor of Jaime Dimon's Olympian heritage unless they petition the firm for permission to keep their given middle initial.

Why would you get dinged for a middle initial? I changed mine to Zeus, could be why I don't understand. I also make the Z initial bigger than every other letter in my name, looks cool.
