Middlebury Recruiting?

How is Middlebury for placement actually? I have heard that the per-capita placements are strong but it seems like it's very much a networking-based process for interviews/offers. I am not the typical white, athlete student and am worried that I'd flunk off that process since it's A)such a small school and B)it seems like everyone who places into the firms that Middlebury is a target for(seemingly Barclays/GS/Bofa/RBC) tend to be either diversity or athletes. So I am wondering if my assumptions are correct and how is Middlebury recruiting at other firms since it seems like Midd kids rarely end up at any of the other firms.

Was asking this question for a kid Ik and just realized that you posted a month ago about being an HS senior deciding between UGA and UF. How would you know anything about Middlebury recruiting?
