MM IB and BB PB/PWM 2027 Internship Recruiting

Hi I have a 3.7 at a semi target in North Carolina, I'm a D1 athlete, have a finance internship and have founded a couple businesses. I'm currently a sophomore recruiting for MM IB in the south and PB/PWM at GS and JPM. So far I have gotten around 6ish Hirevues and have applied to 25ish internships for 2027. Have networked with 16 or so people, large variety of banks, only some have opened apps. Was wondering if anyone knows if I'm in a good spot to land a 2027 internship or if I need to do more.

Why do gs and jpm hirevues not matter much? I know JPM was auto invite probably due to GPA, but GS didn't seem to be.

Cause u need a big pull (senior referral) or be a diversity candidate. There was a team for my school which I guess you would call a target but some kids went straight into the superday because some partners were pulling for them whereas who had good connection with the so called recruiting team didnt make it there. Not the norm prolly but mixed. Your profile sounds strong bro. A lot of opportunities will arise after or during the summer internship
