Hey there, been interviewing with BB risk MO role, what are the chances to move to FO. Seen a lot of people saying LevFin is most appropriate move from credit risk. Anyone have insight?

doable so long as deal volume is as high as it is now. otherwise expect to need an MBA
So if I have deal exposure I will be fine, if not MBA. You expect I’d need to put in 1-2 yrs then lateral as an analyst?
right now there is a lot of demand for junior talent and a lot of deals in the market so people are easily lateraling from MO to FO without an MBA moreso than they have in the past. if this changes it will be harder. deal exposure though is also a plus for making the move
