The number is ok for A2As, literally for associates who only did 2 years of analyst stint. But the majority to my knowledge has to spend 3 years as an analyst like Evercore, which changes the context of this and historically Moelis had a (maybe I'm wrong) 2 years analyst program. 

One of the factors that attracted candidates to Moelis was that all-in comp for top buckets was generally above or at least on par with Evercore but I am guessing maybe not nowadays. 

 

Yeah i don't think 2 year a2a is as guaranteed these days. Who knows if 200k comment above is accurate. Saw on mega thread bonus of 150 with 175 base so assuming that was moelis as well.

 

damn so hypothetically a third year (out of undergrad) is associate 1 at moelis with 175k base and supposedly 200k bonus? and i assume there's an a2a bonus? that's lit 2 year program goated.
