I did a lateral interview there like a month ago now and never heard back. Then saw they reopened the job application lol if you haven't heard back yet I imagine you're in a similar boat
Was this a phone screen?
Did phone screen and final round zoom interview with like 5 or so people
Which analyst position was this for?
They were looking for an experienced lateral analyst
Saw that post on LinkedIn. Anyone know why they are recruiting? Are they expanding or did analysts leave?
people left
Thanks. Do you know the group / have any insight? Trying to network in.
group is busy with rx work.. but laid off upstream folks.. culture sucks.. lots of analysts and associates have quit recently.. insecure and incompetent VP / Director bankers will make your life hell..
I haven't heard of any layoffs. Did they lay off upstream people that were poor performers or was it a "there isn't any upstream work and we don't want to pay you" situation.
Strong suggestion of the latter
Any update on this? Just got a HH reach-out about a position here. They still recruiting or is this stale?
Interesting, I remember reading in another thread a few months ago that the folks in their Houston office are actually quite chill and personable. I guess something changed, perhaps morale went down the drain?
This *was* true to my knowledge - had met a guy out once last year who worked there. But have also heard culture has dropped like a rock as seen in the mass exodus
Some HR person from Moelis messaged me on LinkedIn with this opportunity lol
Do you work out of Houston currently?
