Morgan Stanley GCM SA 2024

Have first rounds, or superdays, been sent out for the Global Capital Markets division? Looking for non diversity pool, and not interviews due to exploding offers. Anything on GCM's timeline? I heard they had a list of resumes last week that HR had sent out to the division

he could be lying. I know the intern class was smaller then usual due to market conditions so we might have just gotten unlucky being born in the wrong year

The supers last round were Thursday and everyone who got it found out Monday too. I think only 2 per "group" get offers.

Edit: meant interview group, not “group” meaning lev fin, ECM, DCM. The same interviewers interview the same “group” of people.

Anything is possible! but haven’t heard of that happening yet. People have gotten in off waitlists in the past and had to wait for like over a month

Here's hoping... there are around 7 groups: ECM, FICM, LevFin, LM, Project Finance, SLG, Securitized Products CM... If info is accurate, that would mean around 14 hires. I've seen 4 LinkedIn posts for 2024 SA, and 2-3 on this forum, so I've seen around 7 offers. I know not everyone is on this forum, but who knows... 14 hires seems to be a small number for such a large division, but market conditions might be making this a tough year. Damn I really hope there's still a chance

And btw, I've heard it is a group matching process after offers are accepted

ive only seen 1 offer on this forum

~10 offers went out in early March from Early Insights too. Believe the class of 2023 is around 45 including 10 sophomore summers? Assuming the 2024’s will be smaller bc of market conditions

They typically don’t reject people right away. In the 3 recruiting cycles I’ve seen, the rejected people wait at least 2-3 weeks. I’ve never seen them send a rejection earlier than that. Can always follow up with HR or have your campus team check in.

Are you 100% sure that everyone who received an offer was already called on Monday?

Just had my SD yesterday Thursday. Does anyone know the timeline for response after SD with MS? I know Thursday is pushing the weekend but I am not too sure how their process is.

Bro I had mine on Friday 04/28 and still haven't heard anythings from these people. Most probably I didn't get it, but from what I've seen/heard it could be any time within like 2 weeks.

I had my SD today, should I expect to hear back Thursday/Friday if I do receive an offer? Do you think not hearing back within 2-3 days means no offer?
