Anybody know if this is just for IB or also for GCM/S&T/AM?
Probably just IB like every other firm that raised. But you can hope.
Bump. Any word on S&T?
How did you get notified? Didn't hear about this yet
Working there
Source? Have also heard nothing on this
Edit: confirmed
got an email from MD
Thank you for giving me something to complain about tonight.
You on all of these threads lmfao. Assuming you're an A1, you only get 1 full year of higher base+bonus MAX. Pray for my EVR bois
*We are on all of these threads :P
EYO GOLDMAN, YOU SEEING THIS SHIZZ? DADDY SOLOMON PLZ GIMME MAH FOOKIN' RAISE.
This rumor has been floating around on this forum since May…
Just got raised to $100
Any word on associates?
Was the call today? Why isn’t this on Litquidity
It will be there soon
confirmed,105 for 2nd yrs
just IB, or GCM and S&T also?
IBD + GCM, I am not sure about S&T
What about associates?
Buump
No change
Wow. People will be pissed. Most banks raising to 175k yr1
Wonder if this impacts recruiting much
Wow that is bullshit. We should be overpaid more!
Isn't the MS Associate payscale slightly different from the rest of the BBs?
AS0 - 150
AS1 - 150
AS2 - 200 (instead of 175)
AS3 - 200
I could be wrong though.
MS has weird AS system that nobody else does.
AS0 = Foundational (basically 3rd year analyst, intended for AS promotion year after, but called AS), used to be 125, now 150. Apparently they get promoted to AS1 after 1 year, so unless they bump AS1-4 salaries, AS0 today will be stuck at 150 for 2.5 years
AS1 = Stub (same as AS0 at other banks), still 150
AS2 = Same as AS1 at other banks, still 150
AS3 = still 200
AS4 = still 200
Does this apply to London as well???
Bump
Yes.
Is it GBP 60k 1st year?
60 or 65 in London?
Does this apply to SF?
You know they're gonna take this out of your bonus, right...
You’d still get taxed less overall because of the salary raise. 25% vs 50% on 15K.
Dude it comes out in the wash anyways… do you know how tax refunds work?
How long will people in finance continue to not understand withholdings vs actual tax lmao
Would have been a nice time for banks to match their US and London comp :/
Why would they do that
They won’t until EU fees catch up to US fees
Incoming AS at MS getting 175k base but those 1 year in still at 150k
They will probably change for full time people soon. Did they announce associate salary change or did you receive an offer already and it was in there?
I’m not a AS0 but some of those confirmed they were told earlier told about the base increase. Hopefully they come through for AS1-3 soon!
Nothing yet.... lol
What about London?
Analyst 1 - 60k
Analyst 2 - 65k
Effective 1 August for IBD, the internal PE funds, and (I think) GCM or at least some GCM groups like LAF
Another bank that raised salaries that isn’t Wells…
WF just did too, IB head confirmed.
Who tf would ever go to GS over MS now
EDIT: nvm
