Most Successful Lateral Moves
Given the frequency of lateral moves happening across the Street — what are the most successful moves you’ve seen in your network? Either uptiering in brand or moving from one geography / industry coverage group to another.
Particularly interested in getting a sense of how doable a move out of oil and gas banking is and how much of a discount (if any) one would need to take to get out of the industry
I would imagine it would depend on the tier of the bank in Houston
I moved from a complete no name boutique doing deals between $5-20m to what’s generally regarded as a top EB (geographic move too)
