Need advice on offer

I currently have an exploding offer at a boutique iBank for an unpaid SA position. I'm also waiting to hear back after a final round interview in F500 corp fin in their investments division which would be paid. That role would be a lot of investment analysis and project finance analysis from what I understand.

The IB role would be about 70% pitching/spreading comps/looking for deals and 30% modeling. I think the F500 role would be a lot more modeling work and would be more complex modeling, but obviously it's a different kind of modeling than IB.

I have some time left before my IB offer explodes, but I wanted to ask this question now to get more responses than I could if I posted with both offers in hand.

So if I can get that F500 offer, which one should I take? Money isn't really an issue, but I will say it has sucked having done 3 prior unpaid internships (PWM, IB, PE/SF). Would the IB role outweigh the F500 name?

Edit: I forgot to say, I'm currently a sophomore.

Edit 2: I was thankfully able to get an extension on the IB offer now, but my question still stands

I faced a similar situation to this last summer and ended up going with the F500 internship. I chose F500 over local ibank because...

1.) Recruiting. The benefit of working at the local ibank is learning more about investment banking and helping you being able to tell interviewers that you know that you want to work in IB. With recruiting timelines being so early now, you most likely will get your SA2022 offer before you start your sophomore internship. This was the case with me. I also think it helped a little in interviews that the interviewers had at least heard of the company I would be working at.

2.) Pay. I don't think this should be overlooked. Being able to put some money away is really nice. The other end is possibly going into the hole paying to live near your unpaid internship.

3.) Interest. I had an interest in the industry the F500 company operated in. I thought it would be a great idea to learn more about it hands-on. I had also hoped that it could help differentiate me from my peers for group selection at my bank for that specific coverage.

I may know which F500 company you're referring to. In a niche but growth industry - is this sector one you'd like to be in long term? Skill set transferable and can leveraged in junior year SA recruiting.

Reach out to the F500 company letting them know you have an exploding offer by a certain date. Indicate interest and ask to see if they can expedite the hiring process.
