Need Help: A&M or DB?
Have prior experience in MM PC, and semi-target undergrad. Have offers from A&M NACR, but in their Case Management Services team, and DB IND. Goal is obviously to move into PE, what would position me better?

DB
Worried bc I heard that DB ind isn’t the best group to be in
Other person here, I interviewed with DB IND and when speaking with an aso2 on the team, he mention he had closed his first M&A deal that month. Took him 4 years.
Accept A&M - Associate 2
I was told that A&M's CMS isn't technically NACR, not sure if I might get not relevant skills
CMS sounds like a middle office role idk why you wouldn’t take DB if your end goal is PE. But this forum loves glazing anything to do with rx
Gonna give it to you straight: take the DB offer. Yes, it’s not a great IB team relatively speaking, but still.
A&M has arguably the most iconic/storied restructuring group in the world (NACR), but CMS is a support & admin team. Have known a couple of people that’ve mistaken it for core restructuring. DB on the other hand is actual IB.
