Negotiating FT offer

Interning in IB in tier 2 city (Chicago/LA) at a bank where bonuses have fallen despite extremely strong years since I signed my offer – around $20k. Is there any room to negotiate my signing bonus once I get the FT offer or should I just re-recruit.

Was told in my mid summer review I was ranked as the top intern – won’t specify how the ranking system works for anonymity – and I’ve been doing ~80% of my analysts work. Personally feel I am materially above the other interns technically and I think it’s clear to the team as well. Additionally, the banks past FT hires are not strong and I am confident the trend would follow if they FT recruit for my class – again, won’t specify reasons for anonymity but the group has become less desirable.

I’ve had 5 previous internships in IB/PE (2 were kind of bs underclassmen internships), but was at a MMPE firm last summer and received a verbal return for FT + they’ve reached out to gauge my interest in the past couple of months.

I’m confident I could re-recruit and have had connections at other banks reach out to me about the idea, but really like the bank I’m at and I’d only re-recruit for the money so would rather get it at the bank I’m at. I realize much of this comes off as arrogant but the only threads I’ve seen about this are people shitting on interns asking the same question with no good advice
