New associates salary (A0) - impact on next levels?
So I'm a little behind, but i heard some (many?) bulge brackets associates that just started in Aug / Sep 2018 got a nice pay bump. My understanding is the a0 salary is now 150k, instead of the previous 125k.
what does this mean for the rest of the associate and vp levels? is everyone getting bumped up 25k or is this just a better deal for the a0's, who come promotions in 2019 aren't getting a salary increase (since they're already at what current a1's are at)?
any ideas?
Anyone from MS or banks that have bumped can explain the new base now?
