New Grad (lateral IB recruiting)
I'm a junior from an East Coast school who had an odd recruiting process - mainly recruited for tech coverage IB but ended up getting an offer to do REPE Acquisitions at a MF.
Was curious to ask about the following:
- What does the timeline for new graduate IB re-recruiting look like? When would be a good time to start reaching out and networking?
- Is coming from REPE going to be too much of a hard sell? I have more than enough experience on my resume to make it clear I am interested in tech, but not sure if analysts/associates would look at the modeling experience from the REPE internship and stuff very unfavorably.
