newbie from south asia

22 year old Indian here to start learning financial modelling and valuation, I will also be availing the mentorship option as I am from a non-target school, average acads and a 2 year gap. I was a Footballer who cut his journey short due to ligament tear and family pressure. The third F word I love is finance and honestly the only thing that interests me. Why ? The competition. I love that I can put my sports mindset to great use in another profession.

I am great at interviews and selling myself for a job I want. I pride myself on my analytical skills and want to sharpen them with whatever resources are available on the Internet. WSO seems to be the most compact one at the moment.

Starting out late is not exactly very desirable for this profession but Hey, Outliers like Jamie Vardy and the 2008 crash are a big part of those wet dreams I have.
